A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Diane Deremo draws her artistic inspiration, her love of the countryside, from the Midwestern landscape.

Painting and sketching outdoors as much as possible enables Diane to capture the true character of mood, light, and color in her subjects. She believes a paintings real beauty can be found most clearly in its initial sketches and brushwork.
